Miami Vice Girls

Bearing a 1984 copyright (but listed in IMDb as 1986 release), Miami VICE GIRLS is the inevitable takeoff on the breakthrough 1984 TV series. It's evidently made in NYC, with no location footage of South Beach or anything else Floridian.

Perfunctory tale of the cop team of Crickett and Jugs doing surveillance duty on a drug deal going down at the apartment building opposite is mere excuse for poorly edited, randomly presented sex scenes. In fact, the first XXX sequence is downright confusing -as the cut from the cop duo disrobing is to closeups of a different couple (quite obvious from the pasty skin tones in one vs. deep tan in the other couple) humping, before later showing the fuzz getting down.

Similarly, action in two separate apartments is thrown in as padding and for variety. The cast is okay, notably topliner Barbie Dahl (of the ugly visage but dynamite figure) and Euro import Olinka Hardiman in one of her few American roles.

Direction is credited to J. Angel Martine (misspelled Martini at the opening), either the gentleman by that name or Roberta Findlay borrowing his moniker. The video bears no relationship to Findlay's work and none of her particular directorial fetishes, so the authorship mystery continues.

Same cast and crew also made the video BIMBO with Linda Chu added, a rather unfunny porn satire of RAMBO.
