The filmmakers originally wanted to re-cast the same 3 male leads as their previous blockbuster film, Tridev (1989). However, since this movie was to be largely shot in Kenya, Jackie Shroff was unable to commit due to his tight schedule. Thus he was replaced by Chunky Pandey.

गूफ़
The city of Nairobi is the setting for all parts of the movie that take place in Kenya, as revealed by the characters themselves. Yet in the song "Aankhon Mein Hai Kya", the ocean is shown prominently even though Nairobi does not border any ocean.

Just Awesome!!

This movie is just superbly done. All of it. The acting, the direction and the music is just mind blowing! Sunny Deol plays a heart-broken soldier whose one and only young brother gets murdered by Puri and his gang. The same happens to Chunkey, Nusserudin and Sonam. They all team up to find Puri who has become a successful businessman in Kenya. Once they get to Kenya the real fun and adventure begins. Other characters such as Gulshan Grover add spice and interest to the story.

Overall, the movie is a real entertainment for the whole family.
