In the opening episode, the characters of Diane and Sally are said to be Dr. Peter Brady's widowed sister and her daughter, but later segments refer to them as having the same surname as the brother/uncle Brady, rather than that of the late husband/father, as if "Dee" is his widowed sister-in-law. It is possible that she either retained or reverted to her maiden name or that her husband shared a not-uncommon name.

Dr. Peter Brady: My name is Peter Brady. For some time now, I've been engaged in highly secret experiments designed to bring about a great step forward in man's conquest of space and time. Here in my lab, working night and day, I've been prying into the mysteries of the future. Only a few hours ago I felt that there were secrets that would never be known here on Earth. And then suddenly, in the midst of routine experiments, a strange and unpredicted event took place. Whether a mistake or the natural conclusion of the experiment I cannot say. I can say that what happened is one of the most fantastic experiences in our modern day.

invisible man

lucky enough to have bought both seasons on DVD from a market stall. 26 episodes on 4 discs ($30 aud). the picture & sound quality are excellent. the series pre-dated 'the saint'& 'the baron' etc, but its interesting to see( no pun intended) Brady tackle similar hazards to the TV heroes that followed.

i think the show was very well written,special effects are as good as one could expect from that period, & best of all is the inclusion of some top class British character actors. i was very young when this series originally came out & it brings back fond memories of my childhood in england!
