Now In The Freezer Section...

Dr.'s Frank Overton and Helen Wieland (Mark Stevens and Marianne Koch) have been experimenting with cryogenics. They've successfully frozen chimpanzees and revived them. Obviously, the next step should be a human trial, but that's squelched by a meddling superior.

No problem. Frank volunteers himself. Shockingly, an unforeseen event takes place that makes him a murder suspect!

FROZEN ALIVE is a rather melodramatic sci-fi / thriller that neatly fits into both categories. The subplot about Frank's rocky marriage is necessary, though it's a bit of a soap opera situation. Things also seem padded out quite a bit. If it was about 30 minutes long it could have been a great TWILIGHT ZIONE episode.

Worth a watch as long as you're not expecting killer robots or laser battles...
