Although Tyrone Power might be the only person who could play this pianist role, but he was too old for this cast, not even with his non-stop, over-the-top fake and exaggerated smiles from the very beginning to the end. When the movie started, people singing in the park, music everywhere. It's just looked like a musical movie, so fake and unrealistic to paint a grand picture of New York. A dramatized biopic of Eddy Duchin and the awkward unlikely romance. Just listen to the music, don't take it too seriously otherwise.
