The Fleischer Studio produced a number of these animated short films where the "bouncing ball" would have audience members singing together. Arthur Tracy kicks things off with the title song before the animation kicks in where we see a monkey singing off at work and quickly joining his friends in playing some music. Clocking in at just under eleven- minutes, this here is one of the longer shorts in the series and once again it features that terrific animation. The early animation was extremely good and there's no question that it was the highlight of the short. The song itself is one that I found to be rather boring and it gets dragged out to the point where I was ready to hit the skip button. Fans of the series will want to check it out but others should probably start somewhere else.
