Bearry

OMG! This is one of those horror movies, that like "Plan 9 From Outer Space", embraces its C-movie heritage to great effect. I laughed throughout, and while I'm not sure if it was intentionally funny, it IS very funny. When "Arsenic and Old Lace" was made into a movie, it was supposed to a legit suspense film, but then when audiences saw it, they howled with laughter, surprising the film makers. But the makers of that film embraced it as pure camp, and I get the same vibe from "Bearry". The plot, the dialogue, the acting, the EFX, and the way the film was shot all point toward the old cheapie horror films we loved as kids. At less than an hour and a half, the film moves along and is a lot of fun!
