The intense beauty- this is the main gift of this touching short film about young Michael, an inner city foster boy , refuged in the daydreams .
In some measure, Never Land reminds me the novel Les loyautes by Delphine de Vigan. But , obvious, it is more. First, it is an universal story about simple way to be protected against agressions , from bulying to absence of love, to accept the loss of beloved one, to be happy for some time .
As teacher, I loved the read of Michael notebook by his teacher. Like the final moments, when the death seems the fair solution to save him.
In short, in profound manner, just beautiful film. First, for admirable remind of essential truths.
