More Acting 'Carrie' (2016)

William Katt, Betty Buckley, Piper Laurie, Nancy Allen, P.J. Soles, and Edie McClurg are interviewed for this twenty-minute featurette that can be found on the new Shout Factory! release of Brian DePalma's CARRIE. To be fair, all of these interviews were made for the 2001 MGM release but the majority of the footage here are from outtakes that weren't used. If you're a fan of the cast or the film then you'll obviously enjoy hearing these stories. The original featurettes ran for a good portion but getting to see more of the interviews was quite nice. There's a lot of talk dealing with the casting of the picture as well as the slap that Allen had to receive for that famous scene. More stories are told about DePalma as well as the cast member's thoughts on the final product after all these years.
