Jürgen Klopp was my roommate when we both played for Mainz 05] but only at the first training camp. Both of us were new arrivals and had been put in a room together. Kloppo was a heavy smoker back then and he would also smoke in the room. I asked him to be so kind and stand beneath the exhaust duct in the bathroom instead. I was a very meticulous player but he found that suspicious. After a week we decided to look for new roommates.
