Tommie was featured as the lead in the 2017 short film, People Are Like Garbage Trucks. It was producer Meir Kay's second most watched film.
Tommie enjoys dancing as a past time at a local retro club in Times Square, NYC in 1970's costume. He also enjoys frequenting disco and 1970's events and dancing. The early years of 1970's program "Soul Train" were an inspiration to him and was an aid in improving his dance skills. He also looks to dancers from the 60's and 70's such as Byron Gilliam and actress Teresa Graves.
He has a series of video skits he performs with a British alter ego version of himself he created named "Afroman". The various skits consists of song, dance and comedic conversation between the two characters.
