She left Farscape (1999) in February 2001. Her reason for leaving was that she had shaved her hair and eyebrows for three years for her role as Zhaan, and wished to grow her hair back and regain her health due to the extensive prosthetic makeup upsetting her kidneys.
On Mad Max 2 (1981) (aka "Mad Max II: The Road Warrior"), "It was a very, very clever movie. Just look at what the genius of George Miller started. A lot of people copied that look that genre over the years. It was really quite ahead of its time".
