He acted in the Hamilton Deane and John L. Balderston's stage adaptation of Bram Stoker's "Dracula" at the Shaftesbury Theatre in London, England with Terence Stamp, Nickolas Grace and Rupert Frazer in the cast. Dennis Rosa was director.
Had a distinguished theatre career which included many leading roles at
the Old Vic and with the Royal Shakespeare Company. He created the role
of Jack Gurney in the play The Ruling Class on which the film of that
title was based.
