Flaminia was the model for Paula Rego's "Lush" painting for the "Dog Woman" exhibition in 1994 and then for the "dancing hippo" in Paula Rego's tribute to Disney's Fantasia for the 1996 celebration of 100 years of Cinema for exhibition at London's Hayward Gallery, South Bank.
