Although closely associated with Harold Lloyd through Why Worry? (1923), expert gag
man and writer H.M. "Beany" Walker was a Hal Roach loyalist and remained
with his studio after the superstar comedian left for his deal with
Paramount in the mid-1920s. A heavy smoker, he died of a heart attack
in 1937, just shy of his 59th birthday..
