She was awarded two stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame: for Radio at 1760 Vine Street, and for Television at 7011 Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood, California.
I started teaching drama just after the war closed in 1945. AFTRA was looking for someone to coach radio to some young people who had come back from the war. My first three drama students were a WAC, a WAVE, and a Lieutenant from the Army.
