Low-budget hidden gem!

The plot of "Gifts From Strangers" is one of the most unique I have ever come across in all of found footage horror. It also has one of the creepiest/scariest moments from any horror movie I've. seen period.

Unfortunately, it is held back by some really poor acting and some inconsistency in execution towards the end. But come on! This was a movie made by a few friends with barely any money! And it is extremely unsettling, tense, and creepy. Despite its flaws, this one really stuck with me even after it was over. I still get creeped out thinking about it.

It isn't very long so if you like found footage, watch it! Just remember what you are getting into (low/no-budget indie). This is a passion project with a truly unique premise that deserves your attention.
