I recently watched Vampire Riderz (2013) on Tubi. The storyline follows a city overrun by vampires, with humans and "day walkers" struggling to survive the night and hunt vampires during the day. The question is whether a group of new day walkers can turn the tide in favor of the humans, or if the vampires will succeed in their quest for world domination.
Written and directed by Cardinal Lamberto (Could This Be Love), the film stars Al Santos (Jeepers Creepers 2), Sticky Fingaz (Blade: The Series), Walter Jones (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers), Marina Sirtis (Star Trek: The Next Generation), and Angela Sarafyan (The Immigrant).
Bikers, vampires, and Sticky Fingaz-who thought this combination would work? Unfortunately, the acting, writing, dialogue, and villain leave much to be desired. The low-budget cinematography doesn't help either. The highlights, if any, are the presence of some beautiful women, a good deal of nudity, a motorcycle vs. Bus scene, and a few passable vampire feeding sequences. However, most of the horror scenes come off as lazy and make you roll your eyes.
In conclusion, Vampire Riderz is exactly what you'd expect: pretty bad. I'd give it a 3/10 and recommend skipping it.
