Made for a Gangbang

Teri Diver and her husband Tom Elliot made some excellent Adult features. This is not one of them.

As mavericks in the Adult Entertainment field, it's not surprising that their take on the lamentable Gang Bang genre would be different from the usual. But it's still gonzo crap, despite Eliot & Diver's dollop of creativity.

In mainstream Hollywood this project would be categorized as high-concept. The central gimmick has Elliot as a nerd named Melvin with his lab in the fraternity's basement. He unpacks a wooden shipping box containing Teri the robot, who he activates with some electric shocks (low-budget Frankenstein) and controls with a master box.

In the first reel, the creative team lost me when Melvin inserts a camera probe into Teri's pussy (she has a hairy vagina, as so often is the case with vintage porno fembots) and we see extreme gynecological closeups inside of her, hopefully faked but yucky nonetheless. This is the signal to the audience that we're in gonzo territory, closer to Lizzy Borden/Rob Black than to serious Adult filmmaking.

So it is a femme robot getting gang banged here, though watching it you see filmmaker/actress Teri Diver proving she's game for gross sex just the way so many of her peers, notably Houston and Annabel Chong, were. The fact that she wrote, produced and directed this video (with her hubby Tom) is of course an "empowerment" issue worthy of debate.

Tom & Teri make the sex more watchable than the traditional gang-bang by dividing up the content into scenes: first Tom "tests" his robot by f*cking her; several frat boy threesomes with her follow, and the movie climaxes with a gang bang. Ending is interesting but not as effective as planned.

Though I admire this team, I have to vote No on this one.
