Dead Horse

A fascinating short animation, basically a horror, in essence a smart mix of old myths about magic, animals, stoled souls, death and oppression.

Inspired music, beautiful drawings, fair crafted tension and touch of Soviet animations, it was, for me, just a lovely surprise.

First, as graduation work at the final of universitary cycle.

Second, for the intense poetry of each image.

Not the last, for the heroic end.

In short, a parable about powerful hidden forces of forest, a brave dog and its courage , determination and resistence as kick to wake up from their state for the other animals.

The used colors are, in same measure, a precious good point .
