This DVD completes the story of the annual Thornhill debutantes ball for lesbians, and was presented by Girlfriends Films as Episode 11 in the ongoing portmanteau series "The Thornhill Diaries". The venerable label screwed up the numbering when the series got into the 30s, but it seems to have righted the count with the recent release of Episode 41, aka Twisted Passions 25.
Heather Silk, my candidate for most underrated performer in the New Lesbian Cinema, has the leading role as a predatory young woman, starring in two lengthy sex scenes amounting to half of the DVD. She gets to do her thing sequentially to both Jessica Shaw and the great Elexis Monroe, before ceding center stage upstairs from the ball (where the humping occurs) to older ladies.
After bidding good night to her hostess, Magdalene St. Michaels goes to bed (in the nude) and has an erotic dream of sex with said hostess, the busty Cindy.
DVD wraps up with the great Shayna forcing her step-daughter Sam Ryan to have sex with her in an undoubted crowd pleaser of a finale. I was a bit amazed how Shayna, though older, looks almost identical in face and figure (right down to the placement of an oversize tattoo on her lower belly) to current star Sheridan Love.
Main drawback for me is the absence of any credits, neither opening nor ending, to identify the cast of this show, even though 24 actresses are displayed in their gowns on the cover of the DVD. I've tried to identify as many of them as possible, for the record.
