Not as good as earlier versions, this update of the Girlfriends Films' unique (and obscure) series about institutionalized annual lesbian coming-out parties in the mythical California town of Thornhill has a good cast but not-so-hot script. As usual, the pornographers and crew go uncredited.
Four lengthy vignettes spotlight four sets of actresses having at it, beginning with a prototypical Girlfriends romantic staging of Brea Bennett trying on her ball gown while trying to coax Sam Ryan to also attend, taking place in a candles & flower laden bedroom. Sam had a bad time of it at last year's ball so is reluctant to go again, but not too reluctant to succumb to Brea's seduction.
Georgia Jones and Faye Reagan make very comfortable lesbian team in the sack, also headed for the ball. Several years later they re-teamed for the self-explanatory clunker "Faye N' Georgia's Birthday Bash".
An unusual case of interracial sex involving mature ladies Magdalene St. Michaels and Nyomi Banxxx. Nyomi is an aspiring model, and Maggie is taken test photos of her in glamorous lingerie, prior to easily seducing the busty babe. Both are headed to the ball, but only coincidentally.
Fourth and final segment features the actual ball, hosted at the mansion of Cindy. We get to see many cameos only some of which get screen credits (immediately identifiable Keisha and Dana DeArmond is among the overlooked players). Iconic dom Shayna gets her clutches on young Lily Redd, one of the more obscure actresses in Girlfriends Films' ever-expanding (and on the prowl for new girls) talent stable, and treats the young thing to a severe introduction to use of the strap-on dildo.
The ball is front and center in the second half of this story, presented in Part 6.
