Heartwarming, relatable, funny, moving

This film encompasses so much in a short amount of time. It's visually beautiful and colorful. The music supports the journey perfectly. The social commentary is humorous and spot on with the times. The dialogue is very well-written. The cast instantly pulls you in and you find yourself invested in their stories, individually and together. If you're an immigrant you're bound to either see yourself or a family member in the characters. If you're not, you see how vulnerable and endearing an immigrants journey is. It is truly a beautiful and heartwarming film of belonging, love and interconnectedness. I look forward to seeing more from this director!
