Sea Creatures

Early in the daring! media catalog, "Sea Creatures" and its unpretentious director Macondo heads to the open water near Ibiza to present a healthy, no-cares sex adventure, light on plot but near-perfect in hedonistic sex play. With pornography lurching from one extreme of pretentious projects to mindless, generic "hard" sex, watching this sort of thing is refreshing.

The model here is countless Private videos, but I found this British-made, with back offices at that time in Spain, later (2010) moved to Holland, daring! media group offering more entertaining. The four girls cast are delightful (plus a guest star blonde Julie Silver), and their "normal people" personalities come out in the DVD's interview section. One is studying to be a website/graphic designer, and who knows, 7 years after shooting this porn she may have found a new, "straight" career.

Format has the foursome on a yacht, recalling (in flashbacks) their recent sexual escapades. Ian Scott is prominently featured as a swinger (Silver is his wife in one flashback threesome humping tall & thin Vanessa) and anal sex is emphasized (with Sofia contributing a d.p.).

One interesting segment has superstar Claudia Rossi demonstrating her deep throat technique and constantly filling up her mouth from a water bottle in a strange gambit that reminded me of the oddball "bun in water" approach used by local competitors in the annual holiday Hot Dog Eating contest held at Coney Island (after pondering this weighty question, I guess hot dog contests are not all that far removed from blow jobs, meaningless societal taboos aside).

The lovely photography and all scenes shot outside (no below decks action) at sea are important elements in the feature's success.
