By the year 2067, Earth has been ravaged by climate change and humanity is forced to live on artificial oxygen. An illness caused by the synthetic O2 is killing the worlds' population and the only hope for a cure comes in the form of a message from the future: "Send Ethan Whyte". Ethan, an underground tunnel worker, is suddenly thrust into a terrifying new world full of unknown danger as he must fight to save the human race.

Anecdotes
Although the movie takes place in Australia and everyone speaks with an Australian accent, Jude, played by Australian actor Ryan Kwanten, is the only character in the film that inexplicably speaks with an American accent.

A man sets himself on fire outdoors, where there is supposedly not enough oxygen to breathe. For humans to have problems, the concentration is going to be lower than the minimum to burn fuel.

Good Concept; Earth devastated by climate change and an nuclear war. The O2 level on earth is running out because of these events. One City has been able to hold out thanks to synthetic oxygen but the oxygen also causes The Sickness.

Below Average Plot; Boring slow middle part Bad Acting; Main are OK Bad Dialogue; Below Average Fun;

Good Decor/aesthetics; Futuristic Neon City, Cyberpunky apartments with visible decay, The opening scene with Bladerunner/Cyberpunky city streets & the transparant television screens is great. There is a great shot in the office of Regina the acting and dialogue in this scene is average at best but the decor is really good imo. There are a few cool shots like of the city skyline around 23min or the shot at 1:02 with the decayed/overgrown city looks like Kingdom of the planet of the Apes.

I rate this film a 5/10. I like the aesthetics but its barely an Average Film.
