Duplicity

There, I did it. The first adult film I've ever watched all the way through (although I have seen my fair share of clips before for, um, research purposes). And ever since I found out that Wicked had a noir line, I knew I just had to check it out. As I haven't seen any Golden Age stuff yet, it will be a little easier to bifurcate my expectations. Taken on its own, this wasn't so bad. "Noir" for this largely meant some plot elements, cinematography, and a jazzy score. The sex was fine, no need to give a blow by blow (so to speak). My only major criticism is that some of the sound editing was a bit iffy. Seeing as this is an adult film, you wouldn't mic the actors, and so a lot of coital dialogue was a bit hard to hear, and what was sufficiently audible never rose far above the level of generic dirty talk. For my first real foray into this space, I feel mostly satisfied.
