Nadeem and Nisho meet at a college debate competition .After the usual bantering / teasing , they fall in love and get married. They start living with Nadeem's mother Nayyar Sultana. At first it seems to be the perfect life with Nayyar Sultana being the perfect mother in law.She is caring and gentle with Nisho. But she slowly notices her own daughter being ill treated by her loud Mother in law - Tamanna Begum. This makes her expect the same amount of hard work and drudgery from her own daughter in law - Nisho. Slowly a rift starts forming in that family . Finally Nisho miscarries her child thanks to the stress and toil. Nisho goes back to her father's place. Matters come to a head with Nayyar Sultana demanding a divorce for her son .
