The Pits

I somehow got suckered into watching this so-called documentary about hip hop star Cardi B. What a mistake. IMBD says the budget for this fiasco was US $126,000. I could have made it for one percent of that.

The entire documentary is filled with publicly available found footage and archive stuff fro the vaults of video hell.

Most of it isnt even accurate or real. For example, the documentary says Cardi B grew up in Washington Heights and then shows a picture of 96th Street! Washington Heights starts around the 150's to the 190's and is a very different place compared to 96th Street which is pretty wealthy.

Then they talk about her being a stripper and the shots are of someone else, not Cardi B.

There is nothing new or interesting in this documentary. The narration sounds as if they are reading from Wikipedia and just cut in some clips.

Avoid at all costs.
