This is the Thai version of the Korean "Another Miss Oh" and it is virtually a blow by blow remake.
It concerns two women with the same name - the eponymous Ploy - one plainer than the other - the plainer one spends her life in the prettier one's shadow.
The ML is a sound engineer who is about to marry pretty Ploy when she leaves him at the altar. The reasons given for this are very very weak. When he thinks that she is about to remarry he sabotages her wedding - but it is not her who is about to be married but the plainer Ploy. They meet and the plainer Ploy moves into a room that adjoins his house. The story advances with them eventually falling in love despite the best efforts of pretty Ploy who wants him back.
The ML is attractive enough and is a very convincing kisser - there were not nearly enough kissing scenes in this series. The FL (plainer ploy) is a continual irritant - she acts like a twelve year old and is either grinning and pulling her face into non flattering expressions or weeping with self pity. The ML's family were a waste of time - particularly his sister who spent most of her time drunk and hiding behind a massive bush of hair which concealed her face. As usual the parents left a lot to be desired - the FL's mother was a poor actress and her father had nothing to say anyway. The visions of the ML were an odd inclusion and not really necessary. It was far too long and the probability of friendship between the two Ploys was zero - women do not forgive rivals.
I disliked the sound effect scenes - they were boring - and the FL's desire to seduce the ML was somewhat off key for her child like persona. The flying through the air into his arms scene was ludicrous and she was somewhat large for all the other times she did it.
In all it was entertaining enough - but in dire need of editing the many scenes that led nowhere.
