Aila Donovan stars as a noir femme fatale accused of murdering her husband, after catching him cheating. Flashbacks help tell the story, and Shawn Alff's script contains effective dialogue and plot development.
Key story structure involves her quite ambivalent attorney played by Seth Gamble, who is ashamed of his less than ethical career to date, and who also is sexually dallying with the cool as a cucumber district attorney on the case, Kit Mercer.
Story keeps the viewer guessing right up to a surprise finale that fits neatly within the film noir genre.
