Anecdotes
Mark Ruffalo had a lot of doubts about his performance during the shoot. He often half-joked that his friend Oscar Isaac, who was filming on a nearby sound stage, was going to be called in to replace him. One day, Willem Dafoe pranked Ruffalo by taking him to a room where Isaac (who was in on the joke) was waiting. Isaac and Dafoe informed Ruffalo he was fired and, indeed, getting replaced by Isaac.

Gaffes
Mark Ruffalo's attempt at a British accent is extremely unconvincing.

Versions alternatives
The UK's BBFC viewed the film during editing to provide advice on classification, and informed the distributor it required changes to one short sequence to secure an "18" rating. The scene depicted sexual activity in the presence of children. Under UK law, this could be illegal and therefore required removal before being distributed within the country. The changes were made before formal classification, and this same version of the film was ultimately released everywhere.

Sorprendida

To be honest it really is a weird Masterpice. I knew it was gonig to be bizarre and I was prepared. However, I never thought that emma stone could shoot such difficult sex scenes. The vestuary was stunning and I really like the characters and their development throught the movie. Of course there were some foolish scenes like the one on the ship, but it was kind of a transition. Finally I left the theater happy to actually seen something diferent of all the hollywood superheros movies. It has super good dialogues and it is even funny, but also the sex escenes and the beginning in black and white was not my favorite. You should definitely go watch it.
