Terry expressed regret that he was a little too hard on David Icke in this episode, though in his 2006 autobiography "Mustn't Grumble", he was a little less charitable.

A photograph of David was captioned "Still crazy after all these years...", while David's appearance on the Wogan "follow up" show, Wogan Now & Then (2006), saw Terry write: "David Icke, no longer a gentle soul convinced that he was descended from the God-head, that wearing turquoise was the way to salvation, and that we were all doomed, but now a ranting demagogue convinced that we were all manipulated sheep, and, of course, all doomed..."
