The Fetish Diaries

Skye Blue's expertise lifts this Penthouse release out of the ordinary, presenting fetish and BDSM lite content to the uninitiated with style. It makes me wonder why so many hacks who make a living with wriggling "Damsels in Distress" videos that are static and dull couldn't follow in Skye's illustrious boot-steps.

Claimed to be based on actual letters written in to the Penthouse Variations magazine (I seriously doubt it), the five vignettes are well- cast and quite interesting to watch. Tommy Gunn portrays a chauvinist who has two beautiful "pony girls", replete with bits between their teeth and bridles, pulling his cart along and then servicing him in an outdoor threesome. August and Cassie Courtland do a bang-up job in these submissive roles.

Submission is a running theme here, with the male version provided by Van Damage, chained up and given a hard(core) time by the great Monica Mayhem, her name proving appropriate for a change. Skye's wardrobe lady and art director on the shoot, Aradia, has a memorably strange outdoor Sapphic sex session as performer with Charlotte Kelly involving strawberries inserted in the pussy and other kinky niceties.

The familiar team of Nicole Sheridan and Voodoo perform sex and bondage together, hardly for the first time, but to good XXX effect. Alicia Angel is spotlighted in a foot-fetish sequence, replete with footsie, anal-sex and even whipping.

It adds up to an entertaining smorgasbord of kink, way above the level of your standard fetish video. Digital Playground released its own "The Fetish Diaries" starring Dana DeArmond a decade later, but it's a stinker.
