Made in south korean style, but its a story that weve seen in more or less the same suit, in a french, american, british and spanish version. but its a reflection made angled from a south korean way of culture and living.
its the story about the paralyzed patient sitting in a wheelchair, lame from neck down to nothing , who get a more or less willing or inspired caretaker to feed and breed and to do the diper and urinating procedures for him. this film though have some really good twists as the band of two have a nose for business opportunities, and even speculates on death to rise the quaterly so to speak.
its very clear that the film follows the strickt rules of korean morals and rites, but its pushing the limits pretty far, and that gives an amusing story that makes you giggle and sympathize with the caracters. its fun, and its serious business.
the acting are at moments driven like the duracell rabbit, but as the rolesegments has established themselves, its actors do have a very high standard. the filmography, choice of locations, the score and the sound production are as usual razor sharp quality.
the grumpy old man who has got stuck in the quagmire of south korean movies over the last year, are very impressed, and i put my seal on my recommendations. good and high quality.
