Commentaire à la une
Tera Patrick's launch of her own porn label Teravision, unfortunately piloted by her creepy guy Spyder Jonez, hit pay dirt with "Reigh of Tera...Inside the Asian Love Palace", so the team went back to the studio a couple of years later to shoot a two-volume followup of which this was the first release. It's a mess, spoiling the gimmick of Part One.
That trailblazer, whose leading man Jonez ruined it for me, full body tattoos and all, sported 14 Asian beauties, which along with star Tera propelled it to audience popularity. For the pair of sequels, Jonez economizes with only 7 or 8 ladies each, doing the same exact stuff dressed (and later undressed) in lavish Suzy Wong costumes, but devoid of anything constituting an interesting narrative.
Part 2 released in 2007 (both sequels were shot in 2006 but spread from 2007 to 2009 to milk the audience) has mean Mr. Jonez running a brothel managed by his lady Tera, and we watch again customers serviced by the prostitutes as well as lesbian group-sex by them. A couple of customers, Tommy Gunn and Jerry, are found dead, poisoned, and Scott Nails and Alec Knight are the detectives investigating the case. Part 2 ends as a would- be cliffhanger (hard for me to believe fans could wait another two years for the solution, but apparently that was the case via Vivid Entertainment's release schedule), with Tera a prime suspect but nothing revealed. Instead, sex, sex and more sex in rather tedious fashion from director Jonez, a musician turned pornographer who should have gone into the aluminum siding business instead.
Many cast members, like wonderful Lucy Thai and Nautica Thorn, return to keep Tera company in all 3 volumes, while Part 2 spotlights British-based Roxy Jezel as newcomer to the cast. Part 3 is so chintzy that most of its exposition is merely archive footage from Part 2, regurgitated. Ugh!
