This film is, in a word, zany. Its hard to describe, but here goes: A God called Thunder helps out a fat kid, who is being bullied by a gang in the beginning of the film. The film then fast forwards to where the kid is now a married man with kids. He works in a department store. Both in his personal and professional life he is a doormat and Thunder looks to help him again. Obviously, this bears no resemblance to the Jimmy Stewart classic, but its not bad. The script itself shows some invention. Not anything essential, but pleasant and full of slapstick. Lots of things happen, but the whole thing is about making Ding Don (the adult) realize his full potential and get treated with more respect. The film succeeds in that sentiment, but its not perfect. Its a little way out at times, but if you like these kinds of films, watch it. I liked it, it was pretty good.
