Splendidly acted

A special feature in two parts, which is splendidly acted and produced by a star cast, directed by Captain Harry Lambert. The embellishments of this picture are more than ordinarily lavish and it seems too bad to waste so much talent and expenditure on a plot of morbid construction. Naomi Childers does some very strong work in the character of the adventuress, who eventually pays the price of her machinations. - The Moving Picture World, November 21, 1914
