I gave this short film a 9 because considering it was made in only 48 hours for a contest, it's amazing. Sure, the jokes are occasionally a bit rough or corny, but I'd like to see anyone try to do better given these time constraints!
The film is a hilarious parody on the drug war. In this case, vice cops are trying to stamp out the dreaded caffeine menace!! These so-called 'venti vice' respond to some really kooky people, though the most amazingly funny (and gross) was the lady who was about 80 and need of a fix! You just have to see it to believe it! Additionally, despite having no money for a budget or special effects, the film makers manage to get around it by proudly being cheesy and using it to great comical advantage.
See this film and see how some smart people manage to make an incredibly funny film in near-record time. And, although it's very silly, it also had me laughing out loud again and again.
