I remember watching this anime for the first time and thinking it would be garbage just like the majority of other spin-offs. It didn't, however, take me much time to realize how wrong I was. Just by the opening song, I've seen myself in front of a masterpiece. The actor who plays Cory is incredibly multifaceted, and besides being an amazing actor, is also a rapper of the highest level, worthy of being compared to artists like Tupac or Eminem.
In short, Cory in the House is a spin-off of the old Disney series That so Raven. At this time, Raven's youngest brother Cory will move to the White House with his dear father who got a job as a cook. There he has the opportunity to meet the president of the United States of America and his little annoying daughter Sophie. Cory, as an extremely gifted guy, quickly develops a friendship with the president, but would start to use him to meddle in the White House policies to implement his political agenda. The Russians, knowing the giant influence of Cory in the White House and his genius ideas to boost the American economy, will try to eliminate him.
In the White House, Cory will also meet and become a friend of PJ from Good Luck Charlie. They will form a band, something that will regularly piss off the president, who is certainly looking for a calmer environment in his workplace. Cory will, as well, fall in love with a girl, and as a very confident guy, largely due to being extremely attractive, will not hesitate to ask her for a date. She, obviously, said yes and they eventually get married.
Cory can be described as a very outgoing person as it can be shown by all the parties he hosts every weekend. Till this day no one has ever rejected an invitation to them as he always gives the best ones of DC.
What more can I say? I would, easily, place it as one of the best animes I ever watched. I can't thank enough the person who came with the idea of creating this because this is one of the best things ever created by a human being. And after finishing all the episodes, I am left with a big smile because I think we should smile because it happened instead of crying because it's over. I am glad Cory in the House appeared in my life, and hope that one day someone creates a spin-off for this anime, now with Cory as the president of the United States, just like Raven have predicted in her show.
