Ryu: I remember seeing him when I was still a kid. When I was just starting to understand about the world. I don't remember where or when I first saw him, I was fascinated but scared more then anything else. Those huge hands that he had, Come to think of it; it must be my fate to fight that man. That must be it. Interesting how things work out, I ended up staying at this old man's house for a while; life there was fun, but i couldn't find answers about myself or about my impending battle with that monster. And yet, time seemed to fly.

I recently watched Street Fighter Alpha: Generations (2005) on Tubi. The plot revolves around a mysterious force that is taking control of fighters like Sakura, enhancing their powers. Iconic characters from the Street Fighter universe, including Ken, Ryu, Gouken, and Chun-Li, must uncover this power and find a way to confront it.

Directed by Ikuo Kuwana in his directorial debut, this film boasts unique and entertaining animation. The characters are portrayed well, and the fight sequences are worthwhile. It excels at introducing the characters with cinematic flair. However, the storyline lacks depth and could have benefited from more development. While it serves as a prequel, it feels somewhat condensed, resembling the start of a movie rather than a complete feature.
