The rivals

This is a great play, performed by the cast of the Bristol Old Vic and put onto DVD so anyone can enjoy Richard Brinsley Sheridon's classic comedy. The performance itself is full of great humour and emotion as we laugh with the writer at the absurdity of the upper classes. Acted Brilliantly and clearly giving a clear insight into the characters and their part in the story. Anyone who is studying this play, i recommend this version. I had to study this text as part of my Drama A-level and it helped me understand the language and rather complicated storyline, helping me with my final exam. The stunning costumes and accurate bath setting also add to the success of the performance.
