A surprising topic for a Japanese film noir...

That would rather be a French or an American film scheme; see for yourself. A man falsely accused of a murder - or somethng else - he did not commit who then tries to prove he's not guilty of what he is accused of. I am not used to find thise kind of material in movies from Japan. rather Yakuza features; especially with Takakura Ken. That said, this film is not bad but overlong, two hours and a half is a real problem.

Forget it.
