Anecdotes
The movie is set back and forth, showing Remy, the lead role at age 10, 30s, and forty years later. However they never show the most recent (~70s years old) face, it's always covered with glasses (in the car), medical equipment, and in the final scene, it shows all the members of GoShogun team in their youth.

Much Better Than You Might Think

While this contains much of what one comes to expect from anime-- gratuitous violence and gore with a little nudity, it also manages to tell a fascinating story of faith, adventure and belief in oneself. The animation is superb and the music used is very fitting for the film. Often too the film is just plain fun to watch especially the interactions between the six lead characters.
