Mil máscaras

A hard one to talk about, it has its dull moments and overall its not a truly memorable movie but theres a lot that works. The plot its simple, bland and generic but the action sequences are good and Mascaras is an appealing protagonist. When it comes to Mil Mascaras, he was always a secondary character in his most famous entries but this film shows that he had some presence and his origin story is quite exceptional.

It could have been a potentially great wrestling film if it went with a more ludicrous plot and elements present in other Vergara productions, it has a very fun beginning but it quickly turns out to be just adequate and not much more.
