Below average comic film

Director David Dhawan and actor Govinda made many comedy films at the turn of the millennium in Hindi cinema; some successful and few not so much.

This is another of those cheesy little flicks and maybe a bit underwhelming compared to the other films they made. The comic elements sometimes seem forced in many situations, the acting by many of the cast members including the lead actress is downright pathetic. Add to it randomly inserted song and dance sequences that are inherently pointless and feel dated.

Still, the film does have it's moments , especially in the second half and if one keeps their expectation tempered, it's not a bad watch.
