Sumeet Saigal claimed that after seeing the rushes of a dance song he did with Govinda, Govinda got insecure. Saigal claimed that everyone dubbed for the film except Govinda. The allegation was that Govinda was trying to delay the film. Saigal claimed that Govinda went to the director and asked him to slash Sumeet's dance part.
