- AnecdotesThe choice to place this series in Las Vegas was not random. Among U.S. crime labs, Las Vegas is the second most active, surpassed only by the FBI lab in Quantico, Virginia. This fact is stated in the Pilot (2000).
- GaffesThe writers admitted that they took some liberties, to make the show worth watching. CSIs don't really investigate crimes, or take part in interviews. They just collect and analyse evidence. And they do it all wearing booties and "bunny suits" - white a full body covering (inc a hood) to prevent cross contamination. The writers also cut out a lot of waiting around for results and fudged the science to keep things interesting. So the CSIs will often get results that would not be possible in real life. Leading to the "CSI Effect", where juries expect a mountain of forensic evidence for every crime.

- Versions alternativesDue to rights issues at the time of release, the R2 (Europe/UK) and R4 (Australia) DVD releases of Season 1 have The Who music replaced by an original theme from John M. Keane. The Who are still credited in the closing credits.

Commentaire à la une
Takes another another angle of vision for cops and crime series. Everything is perfect: the choose of the cast, the cast themselves, the stories, etc. Although some can think of gore scenes, the episodes are not so violent as the similar we have usually. A suggestion: it should be a good idea to start to show some aspects of the their personal lives.
