Anecdotes
The headpiece of Batgirl's costume was painful for Yvonne Craig to wear, so when Batgirl joined the "Batman" TV series, the design was modified. According to Adam West, had a "Batgirl" series been produced, the plan was for the show to air prior to "Batman" with cross-over story-lines between the two programs.

Gaffes
Barbara Gordon's Batgirl shirt is right underneath her librarian jacket. Yet, the sleeve of the jacket was seen a bit down in a previous scene, which would've shown the purple sleeve of the Batgirl costume.

too short

as campy as this pilot was, it still left me wanting more. basically the EXACT same thing as the batman series, only with comissioner gordon's daughter as the crime fighting villain. the funny thing is, you see her transform into her "costume" by taking off her librarian overcoat, neatly putting it on a hanger and hanging it up, and then takes her scarf off, turns it inside out and makes it into her cape. great for fans of the great "wham", "bam", "pow!" fight scenes.
