I saw this movie back in 1978 with my mother in the city of Holguin Cuba at the time Annie Girardot was very popular in Cuba and in the 70s she was a big star in Europe and Latin America they said in the 50s was Simone Signoret , in the 60s was Jeanne Moreau and the 70s was Annie Girardot, this is a very romantic movie Annie play her part to perfection, my mother is a big fan of Annie Girardot sadly miss Girardot is very sick today she is the vicitm of alzheimer. Marilu Tolo the very beautiful Italian movie star play a part in this movie she is very good too but Annie is the star, back in the 70s it was another actress named Glenda Jackson she did a similar movie call A touch of class but i love french movies and their star to me Annie is superior even i saw Glenda Jackson in very good movies even she play Bernarda Alba the play by Federico Garcia Lorca for television under the direction of the very famous Spanish stage actress Nuria Espert but Annie is my favorite between the two of then
