Just an okay film! I think the runtime is the biggest problem.

After watching the Netflix series Monsters about the Menendez brothers, I was curious to check it out because I enjoy little-known '90s movies made for TV.

I'm not too fond of this adaptation. It's quite cheesy and not long enough to fully explore the story. It's also strangely rushed, so you don't get a lot of the details and reasons why they killed their parents. It just makes them look like monsters. Some of the cast worked to a certain extent for me, but the level of acting was definitely missing, which is why it seemed more like they were killing in cold blood. The pretty low resolution also made it quite dull to watch.

Overall, the movie would have been fine if it were twice as long and had at least HD resolution.
